ERP practices
are put effectively for
selection of grades as per
customer's specification.
Clubbing of other requirements
in the same grade and slitting
program for optimum utilization
of wide coils.
Slitting: A
state-of-the-an twin loop
line ensures stress-free and
accurate slitting. The
standard slit tolerances are
+/- 0.05 mm to +/- 0.075 mm.
Total 16 slits can be
accommodated at a time.
Press shop:
Conventional pneumatic
presses from 16T upto 150T
for batch production
involving blanking, stator
and rotor gang punching.
Presses from 160T upto 400T
suitable for blanking of
circles and segments upto
1000 mm as well as gang
slotting of blanks upto 1000
mm diameters. 400T press has
been designed to punch
sectors/segments upto 2000
mm radius. All these presses
from 160T upto 400T are
equipped with uncoilers
(1100 mm coil width and 7
M.T coil weight),
straighteners and servo
feeders for precise blanking
and gang punching.
Notching machine of both
domestic and overseas make
can accommodate blanks upto
1000 mm diameters. The range
is from 2T upto 10T. Our
notching machines are
capable of indexing skewed
stator/rotor as well as skip
notching. These machines are
PLC controlled.
High speed presses from 32T
upto 360T have speed upto
700 SPM. These are capable
of accommodating Tungsten
Carbide toolings. A stamping
controller ensures auto
skewing of rotors and
multiple shaft bore
punching.
To support the grinding of
tools within high tolerance
levels, there are four
surface grinders from chuck
size of 200 x 150 mm upto
2500 x 1200 mm. This ensures
in-house maintenance of
tools with optimum tool
life.
Annealing:
Annealing enhances the
permeability and lowers down
core-losses and apparent
power. This facility has
been designed keeping
specific application
required by a customer.
Currently batch-type pit
furnace with PLC control and
nitrogen generator is
functional. Both CRNGO and
Semi-processed electrical
steel laminations can be
annealed/decarburized with a
capacity upto 5 M.T per day.
Another state-of-the-art
continuous annealing line is
planned with
decarburizing/bluing/annealing
capabilities. This would
handle laminations upto 800
kgs. /hour.
Stacked stators/Die
cast rotors: Total
flexibility is offered for
cleating/auto
stacking/welding of stators
as required per application.
A customer is also free to
order loose laminations to
his discretion. Rotors are
auto skewed on a vertical
skewing machine to ensure
consistent and correct skew
angle. Vertical pressure die
casting machines from 7ST to
250T are capable to die cast
rotors from smallest upto
400 mm diameters and
core-lengths upto 500 mm.
This means that right from
56 upto 355 Frame, die
casting of rotors will be
under one roof. Aluminum of
standard EC grade of 99.7 is
the basic raw material.
However, depending upon
customer’s requirements
other grades can also be
used like 99.5 /99.6/ AISi
12 etc.
A vertices broaching machine
is also available to finish
shaft bore diameters to H7
tolerances. This is done
only where it is essential
and requested by the
customer.
